GENERAL INFORMATION:

The Fayette County 4-H Shooting Sports  club is a program that is centered on youth development, under the direction of certified 4-H shooting sports trained instructors. Children that are ages 9-18 (as of January 1, 2020) and are Fayette County residents are eligible to join our club.  Our members learn techniques in the areas of Shotgun, Archery, Rifle, and Pistol. They learn to handle the firearms in a proper way. Our members are instilled with a level of confidence and appreciation that will spill over into other areas of their life. We use a learn-by-doing approach to enable youth to develop the knowledge, attitudes, and skills they need to become competent, caring and contributing citizens of the world.
