Laugh and Learn Playdate

Each month offers learning activities that are relevant to children's development and will coincide to help celebrate holidays or seasonal festivities. FREE for all children ages birth to 5 and all children must be accompanied by an adult. Lessons include a healthy snack, book, craft, music activity, fine motor and large motor activities, and free play.
Super Shopper Basket Class
- Fayette County Extension OfficeBasket will be woven in navy blue and natural. Measurements are 17 x 7 1/2” x 12”H. Handles will be 30” leather straps in dark chestnut or a variety of color choices of Shaker tape. Cost: $60 plus $15 for the leather handles and $8 for the Shaker tape - your choice. Handle cost will be payable at class. Instructor Mary McAllister.

Favorite Natives for Pollinators
- Fayette County Extension OfficeIn this session we will discuss some of the better native flower choices for gardens. Planting natives for pollinators is quite popular and a great step toward protecting these valuable resources. Every great pollinator plant is not necessarily a well-behaved landscape choice. We will steer you to some pollinator favorites that also are great for gardeners. Take home a small plant for your pollinator garden. You must attend the class to receive the plant, which will be distributed at the end of class. Cost: Free, but must register in advance to reserve a seat.
